Cornell Bitcoin Club Meeting #13 Follow-Up & #14 Info

Hi All, 

Hope you've had a nice start to your week! Here are the slides & recording from the 13th meeting. We are now a Lightning node! 

And, our first channel was opened through a block that happened to be mined by Foundry, which is headquartered nearby. You can see the transaction here. 

We also set up cornellbitcoinclub@vlt.ge, so now our Nostr Zaps are connected to our own Lightning node. (We will have a meeting about Nostr later this semester, but here's a quick video introduction). 

Thank you also to everyone for filling out the workshop and events forms (they are still open if you'd like to change/add a response). 

See you Wednesday, 10/02 at 6:00 pm in Gates G01! We will be introducing and beginning to work on our 4 projects for the semester. Participating in these projects are how you can work towards completing the HODLer, Node & Miner requirements.
