Cornell Bitcoin Club Meeting #14 Follow-Up & #15 Info

Hi All, 

Hope you're all well! Here are the slides from the 14th meeting (no recording this week). 

Last week, we introduced and began working on our 3 projects for this semester. Please fill out this form to select which project you'd like to join!

See you tomorrow at 6:00 pm in Gates G01! Rafa Baldeon, our VP of Engagement, will be leading our conversation on Bitcoin in Emerging Markets (EM), presenting the case study of El Salvador. The first half will be informative, while the second half will be an interactive debate activity. Sal Pineda, our Co-President, will also be joining to talk about Bitcoin in El Salvador. 

In the meantime, I'd recommend everyone read our club advisor's, Professor Sarah Kreps, recent article on her trip to El Salvador for the Bitcoin Policy Institute. 

Also, mark your calendars for November 2nd at 6:00pm! We will be screening the Bitcoin Mining Documentary Dirty Coin (trailer) at The Schwartz Center. Thank you, Matthew Correa, for organizing this screening!
