Food at Cornell Bitcoin Meetings & Events! & Calendar Updates

Hi All,

Happy Monday! Exciting news! We will now be having dinner at at all of our weekly meetings (Thank you Professor Kreps & The Cornell Brooks Tech Policy Institute!).

With this in mind, it would be super helpful if you could please indicate that you are coming by responding to the weekly poll by Tuesday night, which I will put in Slack. (Join Slack here)

Here is a form for you to indicate your meal preference. Depending on how many people come (keeping budget in mind!) and because I have class (& I can't drive haha), our options will be more limited with pizza likely being a regular. There is a local pizza shopped owned by a man from El Salvador, which, with some luck, maybe we can even buy our pizza this year with bitcoin!

Fun Fact: May 22, 2010 is "Bitcoin Pizza Day." A programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz made history by spending 10,000 bitcoin to have two large Papa John's pizzas delivered to his door.  (~$672,240,000 today)
